B8 – Art Experience – Environmental Portrait

I took this environmental portrait a while ago and it shows that I like to travel and be in different surroundings than the ones I am used to. I think I was very successful in this portrait because it shows me at the center but it also allows my surroundings to be noticed. Next time I might try to have a bigger variety of objects or colors in my environmental portrait.

This project was a bit different from the rest of the art projects but I managed to get through it. I used a Blue Yeti microphone and a Logitech webcam attached to my mac in order to record this video. I felt like I did a rather good job at saying what needed to be said about me and my career but I felt like I could have added a little bit more details about myself. I enjoyed this project because it allowed me to do a little bit of editing which I haven’t really done much of in a while. Overall, I had fun and I look forward to the next art activity.

B5 – Art Experience – Graffiti Writing

When I first started doing this assignment I was a little nervous and anxious because I never spray painted before and reading the warning labels on the spray paint can made it even worse. However, once I got started and got the hang of it I couldn’t stop and ended up having so much fun.

To write my nickname I decided to get black and white spray paint because they are easy to distinguish when painting on a piece of cardboard.

I know that my spray painting is not that good but It was my first time and I felt satisfied that I now have some experience in spray painting. I had so much fun doing this that I actually started to spray paint some objects that I have been wanting to paint for a while. Overall, this was the most fun I had out of all the Art Experience assignments and I definitely will be using spray paint for some of my personal projects.
